JOB SUMMARY *
Reporting to the Marketing and Professional Services Manager, the Product Manager is responsible for executing marketing strategies and action plans agreed with the Marketing Manager.
The jobholder is the specialist of the market segments / product portfolio
He / she supports the Marketing Mgr in developing marketing plans within the commercial strategy established by the managements in order to achieve sales / commercial objectives
He / she seeks new business approaches and opportunities utilizing the best operational plans, services and tools to maximize sales and product performances.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS *
Develops and implements the local marketing plans according to the market needs in order to ensure sales, profit and market share are achieved. Develops the Marketing Plans and implements effective actions for products and clients with the aim to reach the established commercial objectives, to increase our products competitive advantages and to satisfy customer’s needs. Develops and implements promotional materials, events and campaign in line with the agreed marketing strategy
Elaborates product’s positioning, messages and SWOT and ensures these messages are duly communicated to the Sales Force.
Participates to the proposal, developments and control of the A&P budget
Participate to the monthly sales forecast process and recommend sales per products based on trends and organize planning to meet the European monthly deadlines.
National congresses & customers’ events organization and / or participation
Ensure that all activities are in compliance with the medical device industry legal rules
Measures the impact of the marketing actions and recommend changes for the future campaigns and marketing actions to exceed sales and market shares
Participates to the implementation / update of the local web site under the responsibility of the Marketing Manager.
Ability to travel as needed : 20%
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS *
/ KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES /
Advanced level of written and spoken English
Computer proficient with Microsoft Office ( Photoshop, InDesign appreciated)
Ability to learn quickly and manage workload in a cooperative and demanding environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills are critical – must adhere to deadlines, multi-task and be able to prioritize.
Advanced research skills.
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, proof reading and collating complex information into reports.
