About the role:

Cerner's professional administrative team supports Cerner's vision, mission and goals through planned work activity while providing support and services to Cerner clients and associates.

The duties of the Senior Office Manager will be to provide proactive administrative support to executives such as calendar management, time recording, travel scheduling and expense submission and approval. Support associate productivity by acting as a resource for questions and ensuring work-location processes operate efficiently. Assist in onboarding by ensuring that all new and transferring associates have the information and materials they need to be productive.

Support activities to foster culture including recognition programs, work environment management, and events. Manage financial expenditures on behalf of the business site, including purchasing, invoicing and account reconciliation support. Manage and make decisions on complex administrative functions with minimal assistance. Drive process improvements and identify creative solutions to tasks.

Manage occasional project work and data analysis for internal clients. Prepare a range of materials for executives in alignment with brand standards and proofread for consistency, grammar, and spelling. Act as an early adopter of new technologies and processes and assist other associates in learning and utilising new tools. Support organisational meeting planning, including assisting with agenda and content creation, logistics planning and note taking.

The Senior Office Manager represents Cerner’s Culture through high levels of professionalism, approachability and responsiveness and will have the understanding of the importance of deadlines and associate satisfaction.
