At Dell Financial Services (DFS), we want to help our customers acquire the right technology solution right now. Due to continued growth in our business, we have an opportunity for an experienced sales person to join our team in France.
The role will be focused on providing payment solutions to customers that are acquiring VMware software. The successful candidate will work closely with the sales teams of VMware and its partners to structure attractive payment solutions for customers. To achieve this, the successful candidate will be responsible for training and coaching the sales teams of VMware and its partners about the financing solutions offered by DFS. This will require strong collaborative skills so as to ensure consistent pipeline growth and the achievement of financing origination targets.
The role will also be responsible for the following
Work with the sales teams of VMware and its channel partners to identify and close software financing opportunities either directly or working alongside the software financing inside sales team
Train and coach the sales teams of VMware and its channel partners on the financing options provided by DFS
Generate, follow up and close financing quotes (primary focus will be on deal sizes of greater than € 100k)
Maintain accurate records of activities, customer contacts and lead status daily in SFDC
Review ongoing sales pipeline regularly with VMware sales and partners and follow-up on all deals
Manage and resolve queries from VMware sales, partners and customers
Ensure adherence to all internal & external audit requirements.
10 years of sales experience in financing, ideally in the software financing arena
Experience of working with embedded lease and assignment of receivables structures
Proven ability to achieve sales targets in a fast paced environment
Experience of working with large technology channel partners
Able to influence others and to build strong relationships
Strong numerical skills, ideally supported by a qualification in finance
Able to manage time effectively and to prioritise key tasks
