The Deal Desk Coordinator is responsible for supporting the team of assignment by creating, reviewing and verifying details around negotiated agreements and helping to receive pre-approval from Sales, Legal, Finance, and Executive Management around orders/bookings/pricing, providing account management support and responding to internal and customer email and occasionally phone inquiries. This position will coordinate logistics directly with Sales, Legal, Accounting and Customer Operations Management team members.

Accept, evaluate and route periodic Tableau internal team(s) and client/partner/direct inquiries, following up to ensure satisfactory closure.
Review and verify incoming deals for accuracy, including but not limited to confirming contract terms, contact and billing information, pricing, business policies, existing legal agreements/pre-existing terms, promotions and purchase order terms and conditions and work with Sales Management, Finance, Legal, Development and Customer Operations members to create deal term sheet for approvals/sign-off and determine best action for fulfillment issues as required.
Use Salesforce.com, NetSuite and other tools to accurately profile customer accounts in order to create quotes/schedules/amendments that reflect product upgrades, consolidation and co-termination of maintenance renewal and add-on orders with cumulative discounting structures – maintain Special Handling Object and be subject matter expert on the nuances of Strategic/Enterprise level customer accounts.
Operate as an escalation point to business partners for quote-to-cash operations and ensure compliance with published sales and business approval policies.
Help coordinate system tie-outs and delivery timing/completion details for revenue recognition with Services, Accounting and Customer Service teams.
Act as the primary liaison with all cross-functional business partners involved in the order process to facilitate deal closure.
Establish productive relationships and feedback loops with Legal, Finance, Sales and Operations management to drive deal efficiencies.|
Must be able to work flexible / on-call hours on a rotating schedule – including evenings, holidays and weekends if necessary to ensure timely and accurate completion of work deliverables on a daily/monthly/quarterly basis.
Support the Customer Operations Management, Executive, Marketing, Channel and Sales Teams for customer specific tasks as required.
Maintain files and customer records.
Who you are…
Experienced. Significant experience of order transaction processing and/or customer service experience in a business environment processing a high volume of transactions of varying degrees of complexity using a computer-based order entry (CRM or ERP) system
Domain. Deep knowledge of purchasing processes, agreements, purchasing order terms & conditions. Experience with SalesForce.com, NetSuite, and MSLA/SLAs preferred
