In the context of strong competition and commoditization within the industry, cost optimization, better management information/decision support, the need to align business services with a global operating structure, business-process integration and a differentiating customer service, have prompted CMA CGM group to develop its Shared Services Center over the past few years. Whereas the CMA CGM SSC network has already demonstrated its benefits delivering cost efficiency and enhancing service effectiveness, the recent acquisition of the APL group including APL GSSC (Global Shared Services Centers) brings additional opportunities to deliver competitive advantage.
As a stakeholder of the Business relation management, the Transition Manager reports directly to the Head of Transition located in Marseilles. He will be responsible for evaluating and transitioning activities, work with business stakeholders for developments and improvements to scope and process delivery. He will furthermore be engaged in ensuring a succesfull transition to the new Group systems
To address both Transition projects on existing and New scope, the transition manager is responsible for:
transitioning processes and stabilizing the same smooth operations
developing transition framework to suit different requirements (volumes/domain/culture) and robust templates for building standard operating procedures/quality plan trackers/escalation
preparing and maintaining integrated quality management system documents during transition and post transition phase, updating and maintaining the same
optimizing project resources utilization including contingency/back up planning
monitoring and coordinate SLAs and to ensure world class excellence of service delivery to the clients and to the end Customers
Collating and reporting standard operational and quality metrics to the management. Takes action on an ongoing basis to identify deviations from standards and initiates actions to address the same
Working collaboratively with the offsite locations & regional offices to anticipate and understand customer expectations and satisfaction levels and translate that knowledge into process improvements/changes in order to improve effectiveness
Ensuring adherence to ISO and Standards across the organization
Profile and skills
Professional experience of at least 5-8 years, of which at least one successful experience in Managing projects and an experience with Service Management concepts, Performance management, relationship management.
