Within the Legal Department of the CMA CGM Group in Head Office in Marseille, you integrate the Global Accounts Contracts division and provide legal advice to the Group's operational departments in the area of contracts, litigation and strategic project monitoring.
Reporting to the Deputy Group Chief General Counsel, your main tasks will be :
To support the drafting, negotiation and review of tenders and commercial contracts in particular for the Group Global Accounts, and provide pro-active legal service to the business. You will also collaborate in the drafting and revision of U.S. service contracts.
To ensure prevention and participate in the definition and application of contractual risk management solutions (procedures, models, risk analysis, sensitization ...)
To manage litigation involving strategic clients in consultation with internal departments and external stakeholders (lawyers, experts ...).
To intervene in transverse and strategic matters for the Group.
To ensure the legal supervision (evolution of texts and jurisprudence, both nationally and internationally, in particular in French and English law) within the framework of the activities of the division.
Manage contractual databases, participate in their improvement and design activity reports.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
With a postgraduate degree (4/5 years) in transportation law, business law or international contract law, you have a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a lawyer in international company in the field of contract law, in particular Anglo-Saxon law.
Pro-active, pragmatic, detail oriented and able to work on your own, you appreciate to work in team and you are force of proposal. You have good analytical and synthesis capacities and have excellent interpersonal and writing skills
You are fluent in written and spoken English, and you have a good command of office and IT tools (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Powerpoint,…).
