Within the Logistics and Containers Department, you will implement regular actions aiming at rebalancing the empty containers stock, according to the needs of the area assigned to you.
Your main mission will consist in analyzing the needs for containers in relation with the Commercial departments and the Agents.
Then, collaborating with the Lines' operational departments, the Agents and the Regional Offices, you will ensure the removal or resupply of containers in order to maintain the optimal level of inventory.
You will also monitor the availability of the various types of containers (empty, stationary) and in close collaboration with the Lines you will guarantee the optimization of empty containers loading onboard vessels.
Besides, you will convey process instructions regarding rental, return, unloading and positioning to the Shipping Agents and the Operations and will follow up on these guidelines.
Finally, you will participate in containers logistic cost-cutting, will analyze the logistic situations and propose the most relevant cost-effective solutions.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
You have an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Logistic Trade or Transport; you speak English fluently with a good command of Office tools.
Your interpersonal and communication skills and your team spirit will help you in the performance of your mission.
