Agilent Technologies, Inc. Genomic Product Specialist in Les Ulis, France
Agilent's Diagnostic and Genomics Division provides innovative and integrated workflow solutions including instruments, automation, software, consumables and services that enable customers from academic research, biotech, industry to clinical and Diagnostic laboratories, to identify, quantify and analyze genes, RNA, DNA, proteins using NGS, microarrays, Q-pcr, lab-on a chip , IHC, FISH, diagnostic kits. To replace someone being promoted, we are looking for an experienced Product Specialist or Sales Account manager with strong leadership and willing to move to his next career step and to join our Southern European Genomic Business team for the French market.
Reporting to the Southern Europe District Manager, your key responsibilities will be:
drive to results a team of Sales Representatives to achieve quota managing a large and growing products portfolio and securing customers satisfaction
successfully introduce new products locally and ramp sales up.
closely work with District Sales Manager and your team to articulate and execute a market development plan which will boost our sales and market footprint, creating new business opportunities, and/or increasing wallet shares from existing customers
provide accurate forecast and reporting on monthly basis
establish strong relationships and influence with user networks, Key Opinion Leaders (KOL), consortia, business partners.
identify major national or European funded projects for early positioning
provide consolidated feedback on market trends, customer's needs & constraints, competitors and present business cases
coach technically Sales team and help them to build value proposition and win against competition.
collaborate effectively with Application, support team, with marketing organization and together with the Pathology team for synergistic approach.
you will address both Academic, Hospitals, biotech and Industrial accounts in Human, Animal and Food market segments.
In this position you will travel up to 65% of the time. Interested in joining the Diagnostic and Genomics Division of world's leading Life Sciences company and you have a successful sales track record in genomics, sales management in combination with a high level of technical know-how and market knowledge, then don't hesitate to apply!
Master degree, PhD, or equivalent in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Genomics. You bring at least 3 years of relevant experience (sales management), with typically 5 to 8 years in sales (consulting and assertive) on instruments reagents, software, key account management, and/or business development of genomic products and solutions. High level of genomic market and products knowledge (microarrays, next gen. sequencing, bioinformatics, Q-pcr and molecular biology) High priority and organizational sense, committed to results, high motivation and energy level, natural leadership, self -sufficient, communication and interpersonal skills, effective presentation with ability to manage by influence. Fluent in English.
