We are currently seeking an accomplished Account Manager, who has experience of the strategic account (Société Générale) and has demonstrated success in a global account management position or equivalent.
You will have responsibility for the SAS value proposition with your customers, managing strategic and tactical governance, co-operating closely with your customers to improve and optimize current business as well as identifying and prioritising new opportunities. You will manage and orchestrate the sales process of business critical analytical solutions. This will include services as well as securing a long term usage of SAS Solutions that brings clear business value to the customer.
- Sales Management / Revenue Generation:
Lead a Strategic Account (one account) team within the Strategic Account Program
Formulate and execute a Strategic Account Plan using the Revegy toolset. Outline a path to expected revenue objectives for the team. Coach the team on the methodology.
Analyze client, industry and market trends. Review economic, financial, and competitive positioning data to inform sales strategies, analyze impacts, identify new opportunity for SAS.
Achieve an individual sales quota. Lead the team to achieve quota for the assigned account.
Utilize SAS BASE methodology to lead the team along a multi-year strategic account plan that articulates their customer's strategic business goals and objectives. The plan will comprehend a multi-year view to revenue growth and elevation of SAS's strategic presence while delivering measureable value.
Balance the long term vision with the delivery of short term goals. Anticipate internal and external business issues that may impact sales targets and business development plans. Develop contingency plans to address issues as they arise. See a 36 month horizon for the business at all times.
Evaluate and enhance the overall relationship with SAS and the client. Increase the amount of relationships and their value to the client and the account team.
Manage relationships at the executive level within the account. Facilitate a scheduled cadence of collaborative meetings with key account stakeholders to create, evaluate and direct a collaborative roadmap.
- Sales Operations
Support the manager in hiring, training, reviewing performance, giving feedback, delegating work assignments, and communicating department and company goals.
Provide inputs in defining sales targets for team members. Works with SAS peers to define compensation arrangements for account related initiatives.
Maintains accurate revenue forecasts. Applies SAS contractual and pricing policies to a client situation with full appreciation of implications and commercial risk.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills required
Extensive knowledge of Financial Services covering their challenges and problems whilst assisting in optimisation, improvements and transformation of their business.
Ability to identify customers' needs and to be confident enough to challenge when required.
Ability to build trust and rapport.
Demonstrable understanding of how technology and analytics will transform the Financial Services Industry.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
