The Project Manager is
responsible for a segment within a given project portfolio which can be defined
by industry, service line, technology center, specialty area or region. Main
responsibilities include people management, project oversight, and sales
enablement. Accountable for
operational/financial metrics and maintaining project/portfolio profitability
while ensuring quality of project delivery and maintaining customer
As a recognized
authority and leading contributor in Service Delivery, this project management
professional, will provide consistent innovative and high quality solution
delivery leadership. Responsible for
guiding the successful delivery of services for complex business solutions
ensuring high quality and timely delivery within budget and to the customer’s
satisfaction and KPI’s. .
The Project Manager
will also act as the management liaison between the customer and the Oracle
Lifecycle Managed Services teams regarding issues of staff assignments and performance
of the Services. The Project Manager operates primarily within the domains of
contract management, service management and resource management. The Project Manager will have the
Project planning and team management
Manage all contractual aspects of the engagement withthe client
Manage all interactions between the client, OracleProduct Support, Oracle Consulting teams, including both offshore andonsite resources
Service Reporting and monitoring.
As required and if
needed the Project Manager may be also required to manage additional smaller
projects or Managed Service engagements.
As our projects range
throughout the EMEA region, travel maybe required for proportions of any
Desired Skills and Experience
15 years of experience relevant to thisposition, including multiple years of project or direct line managementexperience.
Possessproven IT project management skills and experience
Comfortable working in a matrix managementenvironment.
Strong influencing and negotiation skills todeal with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors. Product, technology orindustry expertise relevant to the portfolio focus.
Experienced Service Manager managing largesingle accounts (annual budget in excess of €5m) with large, dispersed Teams
Experienced in handling Multiple Service streams: coreManaged Service, Enhancements and Upgrades
Demonstrate skills in building and maintainingexcellent Customer Relationships over a period of time
Demonstrate a history of realizing Customer Value
Demonstrate the ability to increase Service Revenue
Preferable: experience in the Utilities industry
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Preferably be ITIL Certified, ideally to Practitionerlevel
Be able to work effectively with all areas of thebusiness in order to deliver an excellent service for our customers, andremaining customer focused at all times
Selling skills preferred.
Undergraduate degreeor equivalent experience.

This manager-level position is responsible for a segment within a given project portfolio which can be defined by industry, service line, technology center, specialty area or region. Main responsibilities include people management, project oversight, and sales enablement. Accountable for operational/financial metrics and maintaining project/portfolio profitability while ensuring quality of project delivery and maintaining customer referenceability.
Responsible for adherence to operational policies and achievement of portfolio performance to support business plan. Responsible for solution and pricing of proposals and supporting the sales process. Is accountable for managing a profitable revenue stream. Typically manages a relatively small number of individual contributing project managers. Provides oversight to projects within portfolio to ensure high customer satisfaction in a profitable manner.
8 years of experience relevant to this position, including 2 years of project or direct line management experience. Demonstrated ability to follow solid project management principles and successfully manage projects of increasing complexity. Comfortable working in a matrix management environment. Strong influencing and negotiation skills to deal with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors. Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the portfolio focus. Selling skills preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Ability to travel as needed.
